From TechGamesPlus to Tailias

From July 28th, 2026, I will be changing from TechGamesPlus to Tailias.
This page explains why.

Effective from today (July 28th, 2026), I will be retiring the "TechGamesPlus" branding in favour of my fursona, Tailias. Over the coming days, you'll gradually see the shift between names.

Retiring the TechGamesPlus Branding

When I was young, I used to always pretend to be an influencer - originally by the name of "MyCraftU2", then to "Da Beef" (for some fucking reason), and then eventually to who I am today: "TechGamesPlus".

Yet, for the last few months, I've been falling out of love for the TechGamesPlus name.

Nowadays, I'm wanting to diverge away from some 12-year-old's name. I'm older, more mature, and am ready to mature my branding in that way.

That's why I'm retiring the "TechGamesPlus" branding.

So why "Tailias"?

For a very long time now, I've been wanting to have a fursona. I actually had four at one point: "Echo", "Delta", "Fenrir", and "Terrah", yet all of them ended up in the graveyard of forgotten fursonas. "Echo" was the only one I actually ended up templating.

Terror Teddy was already my prominent avatar. After all, he's a one-of-a-kind creation, made by the local tattoo artist my parents get their tattoo's done by. I love Terror Teddy, and this isn't me saying that I'm getting rid of Terror Teddy.

That's why Tailias is a thing. Tailias is meant to be the furry incarnation of Terror Teddy. Originally, that was the responsibility of Terrah (pronounced like "Terror" (see the resemblance??)), but I could never get to that. I always had issues trying to see what design features Terrah could have.

I was at a stalemate on making a fursona up until my attendance at FurDU 2026, particularly at Astris' Guest of Honour panel. She was talking about how to make a fursuit, and it was during that panel that Tailias came to fruition.

Tailias is a blue bear, in similar design to Terror Teddy, with the exception of two functioning eyes. He is also part-fox to allow for a longer tail. More details about Tailias can be found on the fursona page.

What'll happen to the TechGamesPlus brand?

What I aim to achieve in this rebrand from TechGamesPlus to Tailias is to make it a "soft-changeover".

That's probably not a proper word, but what I mean is that, simply put: replace all TechGamesPlus with Tailias.

Terror Teddy will be effectively retiring from my public life effective from this date. My private socials will still contain him.

In terms of Tee Tee, my cartoon mascot, I've made the decision to keep him. I'll be attempting to phase out his assets from long-form videos that I'll potentially make (and yes, I'm gonna get back into making videos again), but that'll be a progressive shift away when I get those assets. He will not be disappearing from the website in his current positions. I've solidified Tee Tee into places I cannot easily remove him from (i.e. letters that I actually write to people), so he'll be remaining. I do have other plans with Tee Tee, however, but I cannot reveal that information just yet.

In other words: TechGamesPlus is being discontinued. It won't be removed, I can assure you that. My branding will just switch over to Tailias.
